If you arrive from Krabi on a longtail, Tha Khao village is the first place you’ll see when you arrive on Koh Yao Noi
Tha Khao village (Ban Tha Khao) is a tiny hamlet by Tha Khao Pier, with just a few houses and a couple of shops selling water and petrol – it’s great as a pit stop if you’re driving a bike around Koh Yao Noi.
If you want anything more than water, snacks and petrol, you should head to Koh Yao Noi village instead, which is the main settlement on the island.
